The purchase of a ticket involves the complete acceptance of the rules shown at the entrance.

For any reason the staff is not allowed to refund the price of a purchased ticket.

All those entitled to free admission must show valid ID at the ticket office.

ACCESS RULES TO ENTER THE PARK OF THE STATUE OF SAN CARLO

  • Visitors over 12 years old must show their green pass to be admitted
  • Only one person at a time can access the ticket office.
  • Visitors are measured body temperature when entering.
  • Disposable gloves are distributed.
  • It is necessary to keep a safety distance of one meter throughout the park and terrace area.

ANTI-COVID RULES TO ACCESS THE TERRACE AND THE INTERIOR OF THE STATUE 

We inform our kind visitors that, to visit the terrace and the inner part of the Statue, in addition to the anti-covid rules necessary to access the park listed above, the following restrictions apply:

 

  • Access to the interior of the statue is allowed only with green pass and from 12 years of age.
  • Children under 12 are admitted up to the terrace, even without green pass.
  • It is necessary to wear a mask during the ascent to the Statue and for the entire stay on the terrace.
  • The flow of visitors inside the statue is regulated by the ticketing staff.
  • Families of up to 6 people are admitted at the same time.
  • Individuals can enter one person at a time.
  • To get inside the Statue, the use of disposable gloves provided free of charge by Ambrosiana is mandatory.
  • Visitors can stay inside the statue for no longer than 8 minutes.
  • Access to the interior of the statue is possible only if Piedmont is in “white zone”.

 

OTHER WARNINGS

  • To protect their own safety, disabled people, blind people, people with heart diseases and pregnant women are prohibited from climbing inside the Statue.
  • The ascent is not recommended for people suffering from vertigo or claustrophobia.
  • It is forbidden to bring backpacks, bulky bags and umbrellas inside the Statue.
  • It is forbidden to use photographic equipment or video cameras during the ascent and descent phase; these objects must be well fixed to the person’s body.
  • It is forbidden to bring animals into the green area and into the statue.
  • Safety harnesses and helmets are available upon request.
  • The waiting time to go inside the statue can vary depending on the turnout (even over an hour), please, always check the waiting time at the ticket office before buying tickets.
  • The staff is not responsible if the waiting time exceeds the forecasts communicated verbally.
  • Upon reservation, groups of more than 20 people are allowed to stop inside the green area during the lunch break.
  • We inform you that the entire area inside the Statue of San Carlo is connected to an audio-video recording device, used in compliance with the current Privacy law.

 

SAN CARLO CHURCH

  • The Church of San Carlo is open on the same days and times as the Statue, according to the guidelines provided by the CEI.
  • To enter, it is mandatory to wear a mask.
