The purchase of a ticket involves the complete acceptance of the rules shown at the entrance.

For any reason the staff is not allowed to refund the price of a purchased ticket.

All those entitled to free admission must show valid ID at the ticket office.

 

Requests for photo/video shootings inside the Statue’s Park, or requests for free tickets for journalists, must be submitted in advance to: statuasancarlo@ambrosiana.it

WINTER CLOSURE: FROM NOVEMBER 06, 2023 UNTIL END OF FEBRUARY 2024

Minimum necessary visiting time approximately 30 minutes.

Animals are not allowed inside the green area and inside the statue.

ACCESS RULES TO THE TERRACE AND THE INTERIOR OF THE STATUE 

Visitors over 12 years of age must show the super green pass.

 

STATUE OF SAN CARLO

Children between 6 and 10 years old can access the statue only if accompanied by an adult responsible for the child’s ascent and descent.

Children up to 5 years old cannot access the interior of the Statue.

Visitors must wear a mask when climbing up the Statue.

The flow of visitors inside the statue is regulated by the ticketing staff.

Families of up to 8 people can access the Statue at the same time.

Individuals and non-relatives can access the interior of the statue one person at a time.

To get inside the Statue, the use of disposable gloves provided free of charge by the Statue’s staff is mandatory.

Maximum time spent inside: 10 minutes.

Access to the interior of the statue is possible only if Piedmont is in “white zone”.

 

OTHER WARNINGS

Please note that the interior of the statue has architectural barriers that make the access difficult for people with motor and visual disabilities.

The ascent is not recommended for people suffering from vertigo or claustrophobia.

In order to protect their own safety, people with heart disease and pregnant women are not allowed to climb inside the Statue.

It is forbidden to bring backpacks, bulky bags and umbrellas inside the Statue.

It is forbidden to use photographic equipment or video cameras during the ascent and descent phase; these objects must be well fixed to the person’s body.

It is forbidden to bring animals into the park.

Safety harnesses and helmets are available on request.

The waiting time to go inside the statue may vary depending on the turnout (even over an hour). Please , check the waiting time at the ticket office before buying tickets.

The staff is not responsible if the waiting time exceeds the forecasts communicated verbally.

We inform Visitors that the whole area inside the Statue of San Carlo is connected to an audio-video recording device, used in compliance with the current Privacy law regulations.

 

SAN CARLO CHURCH

The Church of San Carlo is open on the same days and times as the Statue, according to the guidelines provided by the CEI.

To enter, it is mandatory to wear a mask.
