La Statua di San Carlo ad Arona sarà visitabile anche durante le festività natalizie con aperture speciali che permetteranno di vivere il complesso monumentale in un’atmosfera unica.

• Dal 2 al 6 gennaio: 10:00 – 17:00*

* Ultimo ingresso alle 16:30. L’accesso a statua e terrazzo è sospeso dalle 13:00 alle 14:00.

• Solo terrazzo – € 7,00
  Accesso al terrazzo panoramico e al parco monumentale.
• Terrazzo + statua – € 10,00
  Include terrazzo, accesso all’interno della statua e visita al parco.

VISITE GUIDATE

Durante le aperture ci sono due occasioni visite guidate tematiche. Partendo dal centro storico di Arona vi aspetta un viaggio tra arte, storia e spiritualità sulle tracce di San Carlo e Federico Borromeo. Dalla città con chiese ricche di capolavori al incredibile colosso, si scopre il ruolo fondamentale della famiglia Borromeo sul territorio.

Inoltre, nelle stesse giornate è possibile partecipare a visite guidate esclusive sulla Statua di San Carlo. Il Sancarlone, definitivo affettuosamente dagli aronesi, con i suoi 35 metri di altezza, è uno dei simboli del nostro territorio. Una statua cava all’interno sorretta da un’anima in pietra, mattoni e ferro, mentre all’esterno è costituita di lastre di rame battute. L’opera colossale fu conclusa nel 1698 e esempio per la costruzione della Statua della Libertà.

The Statue of San Carlo in Arona will also be open to visitors during the Christmas holidays with special openings that will allow you to experience the monumental complex in a unique atmosphere.

OPENING DATES AND TIMES:

* Last admission at 4:30 PM. Access to the statue and terrace is suspended from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

  Access to the panoramic terrace and monumental park.
• Terrace + statue – € 10.00
  It includes a terrace, access to the interior of the statue and a visit to the park.

GUIDED TOURS – in italian 

During the openings there are two occasions thematic guided tours. Starting from the historic center of Arona, a journey through art, history, and spirituality awaits you in the footsteps of San Carlo and Federico Borromeo. From the city with churches full of masterpieces to the incredible colossus, you discover the fundamental role of the Borromeo family in the area.

In addition, exclusive guided tours of the Statue of Saint Charles can be taken on the same days. The Sancarlone, affectionately known to the people of Arona, at 35 meters high, is one of the symbols of our territory. A hollow statue on the inside supported by a core made of stone, brick and iron, while on the outside it is made of beaten copper plates. The colossal work was completed in 1698 and an example for the construction of the Statue of Liberty.
